All of our measurements are taken in inches, with the garment laid out on a flat surface.
When taking measurements, make sure to hold your tape measure snug and tight without digging in. Also make sure that the tape measure is even across and not dipping - it should be snug enough to not slip.
- Bust: holding your arms down by your side, measure around the fullest part of your bust.
- Waist: place your hands where they naturally gravitate on the smallest part of your waist. Please note, this will be a bit above your belly button.
- Hip: standing with your feet together, measure the widest part of your behind.
- Length: Measure from the center of your shoulder straight down.
For smocked busts and elastic waistbands, there is a 2 inch give so keep that in mind with measurements for fit.
